Job Description:
A fast-growing retail company focused is seeking a highly
capable Financial Controller to lead its core accounting and
financial operations. This role is essential in driving accurate
reporting, strengthening financial controls, and supporting
scalable growth across direct-to-consumer and omnichannel
platforms. Client Details Fast growing retail company Description
Oversee all accounting activities, including general ledger
maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, expense
management, and sales tax filings. Lead the month-end close process
and prepare quarterly financial reporting packages. Coordinate
internal reporting, tax accounting, and external reviews with
auditors and consultants. Implement and maintain accounting
policies and internal control procedures to ensure compliance and
risk mitigation. Manage relationships with financial institutions,
including credit line administration, foreign exchange solutions,
and asset-based lending facilities. Contribute to systems upgrades
and ERP implementation projects, with a focus on automation, data
accuracy, and process efficiency. Profile Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification highly
preferred 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting or
financial management Industry experience in eCommerce, consumer
products, retail, or DTC businesses In-depth knowledge of GAAP and
financial statement preparation Proficiency with accounting systems
and ERP platforms Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience managing or supporting asset-based lending
arrangements Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to
