Job Description:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of
financial records, supporting monthly and year-end close processes,
and maintaining compliance with all accounting standards and
regulations. Client Details Our client is a leading provider of
credit ratings, commentary and research. Dedicated to providing
value beyond the rating through independent and prospective credit
opinions, they offer global perspectives shaped by strong local
market experience and credit market expertise. Description Prepare
and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial
statements. Maintain and analyze the general ledger and ensure
proper documentation of all accounting transactions. Oversee
month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all
deadlines are met. Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS (if
applicable), and company policies. Assist with internal and
external audits, preparing audit schedules and responding to
auditor inquiries. Implement and maintain effective internal
controls to safeguard company assets. Support budgeting,
forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Analyze financial
data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to
management. Assist with tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax,
and other statutory obligations. Profile Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, CMA, or
equivalent professional certification preferred. 5 years of
progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and
financial reporting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and
regulations (GAAP/IFRS). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,
SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong
attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
