Qualified applicants will be included in a “pool” of individuals which will be used to fill course teaching assignments as the need arises through Spring 2026.The department offers courses in mathematics, data science, statistics, computer science, digital forensics, and cybersecurity. It serves three campuses. For more information on the department, visit https://www.bloomu.edu/offices-directory/mathematics-computer-science-and-digital-forensics.Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach introductory and/or upper-level courses in digital forensics or cybersecurity.The home campus for these temporary positions is Bloomsburg with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.DutiesApplicants would be expected to teach at least one section of an existing course in the Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity curriculum. They would be responsible for teaching the content material, grading, holding office hours, and submitting final grades for the semester.Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred)Minimum Requirements:Graduate degree in Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related areaPreferred Qualifications:Experience teaching online coursesExpertise in Digital Forensics or CybersecurityPrior experience teaching Digital Forensics or CybersecuritySpecial Instructions to ApplicantsA complete application includes cover letter, resume/CV, unofficial transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework, and a statement of teaching philosophy.
