Job Description:
The Edge Fitness Clubs is seeking a dedicated Edge Kids
Supervisor to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in
providing a safe, engaging, and active environment for children
while their parents utilize our fitness facilities. Our ideal
candidate is someone who is passionate about child development and
fitness, and possesses strong leadership skills to manage our Edge
Kids recreational area efficiently. This position will oversee all
operations of the Edge Kids zone, ensuring all activities align
with our clubs standards and health guidelines. Supervise and
engage children in interactive and fitness-oriented activities.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children to play and
learn. Develop and implement age-appropriate fitness programs and
activities. Facilitate communications between parents and club
management regarding child care programs and services available.
Train and lead a team of child care and fitness professionals
within the club. Ensure compliance with all local, state and
federal regulations regarding childcare and fitness. Manage and
schedule staff, and prepare reports on program success and areas
for improvement. Leadership and team management Strong
communication skills both with children and adults Ability to plan
and execute children's fitness activities Knowledge of first aid
and CPR Ability to handle emergencies with calmness and efficiency
CPR and First Aid Certification Childcare Licensing and
Certifications as required by state law
