Concrete Paving Laborer US-PA-Douglassville Job ID: 2024-2532 Type: Regular Full-Time Category: Contracting Structures Division Overview Structures Division, a division of the H&K Group, Inc. is looking for a Concrete Paving Laborer for heavy civil and highway construction projects. Recognizes misalignments with company values and culture and rectifies - Performs all other duties of crew members as needed - Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Problem solving - Ability to travel as required for projects - Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed - Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job) Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience - 2 years of relevant experience and/or training - Experience operating heavy equipment used in highway construction - OSHA or other relevant safety certifications Physical Demands - Regularly required to - Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl - Use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms - Talk and hear - Occasionally required to - Sit - Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds - Vision abilities include - Close - Distance - Color - Peripheral - Depth perception - Ability to adjust focus Work Environment - Regularly exposed to - Outside weather conditions - High, precarious places - Frequently exposed to - Moving mechanical parts - Fumes or airborne particles - Noise level is usually moderate H&K’s Structures Division key difference is our customized, value engineered approach to your project.
