Position Opening Oncology Program Manager Located in Belleville, Clara Maass Medical Center is a facility of RWJBarnabas Health and provides a complete continuum of care to residents of northern New Jersey. In 2017, the Medical Center completed a state-of-the-art campus expansion featuring a new four-story 87,000 square foot building with a private, 32-bed Intensive Care Unit, new Main Entrance and Lobby, Retail Pharmacy, Patient Registration Area and newly expanded Emergency Department. Clara Maass Medical Center has been recognized nationally for its quality and patient safety by Healthgrades and by the Leapfrog Group, having earned its twelfth Grade A in 2019. In 2018, the Medical Center earned designation in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. We are currently looking for an Oncology Program Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative functionality of the Cancer Registry. This includes working in conjunction with Cancer Program Resources to ensure timeliness in abstracting, assuring annual quality assurance goals are met, and coordinating all tumor board meetings in conjunction with the office of Graduate Medical Education. Lead contact with Cancer Committe Chair and CLP with coordination of CoC Survey. You Will Be Responsible For: Report all appropriate cancer cases to the NJ State Cancer Registry according to the guidelines. Coordinates and participates in all NJ State Cancer Registry audits and special studies. Participates in case finding for registry. Coordinates quality assurance on 10% of analytic caseload. Works in conjunction with Cancer Program Resources to facilitate abstracting of annual case load. Coordinates all tumor board meetings including CME requirements. Work closely with the Office of Graduate Medical Education. Certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association (CTR status) a must. Minimum of five years in the Cancer Registry field. Experience in an administrative position highly desirable. Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and demonstrated writing skills.
