Job Description: Maplewood Senior Livings new Inspr brand of world-class, urban senior living properties is now hiring a Director of Business Development to support external sales efforts at its new Inspr - Carnegie Hill property. Located on the Upper East Side, this 23-story, 215-unit residence offers assisted living, enhanced care and memory care. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a brand-new development, the first of its kind in New York City. This role will be a critical part of the sales team in preparation for opening. The Director of Business Development Role: Responsible for achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the property by attracting qualified prospects to the property (particularly those from professional outreach activity) and converting those prospects into residents. Director of Business Development Primary Responsibilities: Owns and manages the quarterly marketing and strategic plan, inclusive of professional events and targeted outreach Serves as a key market leader and drive collaboration with world class hospitals in New York City Enhances relationships with professional contacts within the healthcare industry Identifies opportunities with strategic partners and new referral sources Responsible for community outreach and education activities for creating referrals Coordinates outreach meetings for other key staff including General Manager and Senior Director of Integrated Care Effectively uses CRM to maintain a high-quality outreach and sales effort - Keeping referral customer information up-to-date and using the data base to orchestrate specialized outreach efforts, including targeted mailings Participates with General Manager and Director of Leasing on development of effective sales and marketing plans drawing on information from analysis of the competitive environment. Updates key competitor evaluation and price surveys semi-annually Director of Business Development Education/Experience/Certification: Bachelors degree in marketing, human services, or business management preferred Must have experience and professional contacts within the healthcare industry, in New York City Excellent customer service and public relations skills Keen desire to serve seniors Minimum 5 years sales/marketing experience with a proven track record Effective problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and public relations skills Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging, and team-oriented Creative approach to goals and problems Experience working with seniors Proven record of identifying and developing professional referral sources How is the Inspr experience truly brought to life?
