Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Montclair, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,404 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Montclair, New Jersey, 07042! Job Title: Labor & Delivery RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP Must-Have: - Multi-facility Labor & Delivery experience or travel experience preferred - Charting experience with Epic preferred Description: Looking for a skilled Labor & Delivery RN to join our team. The RN will work night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Travel experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Epic charting system. Certifications required include BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP. Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, circulating for C-sections, and triaging obstetrical patients. Experience with anticoagulants, antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate therapy, and maintaining central lines is essential. The RN will manage high-risk antepartum patients and perform sterile vaginal exams. Candidate should be familiar with the use of intrauterine pressure catheters and isolation precautions/PPE. A daily census of 200-300 births per month is expected in the unit. We value teamwork and patient-centered care in our environment.
