Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Montclair, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,772 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: NICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience Description: NICU RN for Level II NICU. Shift options available: 3x12 or 4x12, block schedule if needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Experience with EPIC documentation is preferred. Skills required include arterial line management, central line blood draw, and central line care. Experience with feedings (bottle, breast, gavage) and isolation precautions is necessary. Candidates should have knowledge of neonatal abstinence syndrome and neonatal dosage calculations. Experience handling neonates 29-34 weeks and NICU Level III patients is essential. Placement and management of oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes, as well as UVC management, is required. Ventilator management skills (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) are necessary. Candidates should be comfortable with various interdisciplinary support services. Patient age groups include neonates and infants. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA
