Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring travel experience with high-risk pregnancies in large hospital settings and an active NJ or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a large hospital Labor & Delivery unit - Care for high-risk pregnancy patients - Night shift schedule from 7p to 7a, three 12-hour shifts per week - Uses Epic EMR system - May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital - Perform comprehensive assessments and provide direct patient care for laboring patients - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using Epic - Deliver patient education before and after procedures, including surgical and anesthesia-related care - Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and proper patient identification protocols - Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient- and family-centered care - Follow proper safety, emergency equipment, and body mechanics procedures /n /n Requirements/n - Active NJ or compact RN license required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Previous travel nursing experience in Labor & Delivery with high-risk pregnancies required - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-658709.
