POSITION SUMMARY The Lead RBT Clinical Program Specialist is a senior-level clinical team member who provides direct ABA services while supporting program oversight, mentorship, treatment integrity, and service continuity across assigned cases. This role is designed for individuals who: Hold an active BCaBA credential with a Bachelors degree OR Hold a Masters degree in behavior analysis or related field, have completed BCBA coursework requirements, and are actively preparing to sit for the BCBA examination and/or obtain Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) credentialing The Lead RBT serves as a clinical bridge between Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and supervising BCBAs and/or Licensed Behavior Specialists (LBS), ensuring high-quality service delivery, documentation compliance, and consistent implementation of treatment plans. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead with professionalism and collaboration. This individual must be organized, adaptable, solution-focused, and aligned with ALFSs family-centered mission and values. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Service Delivery Provide direct ABA therapy (CPT 97153) across clinic, home, school, and community settings Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity Collect, analyze, and interpret client data Support skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming Maintain professional communication with families and interdisciplinary team members Program Support & Clinical Oversight (Under BCBA and/or LBS Supervision) Assist with treatment plan updates and goal revisions Support behavior intervention protocol modifications Participate in functional behavior assessment processes Assist in caregiver training sessions when appropriate Support components of CPT 97155 services in accordance with payer and regulatory guidelines Staff Mentorship & Leadership Mentor and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Assist with onboarding and shadowing of new staff Support monitoring of treatment integrity Provide feedback to supervising BCBA and/or LBS regarding client progress and staff performance Clinical Coverage & Continuity Support Provide short-term coverage for RBT call-outs to ensure continuity of care and minimize service disruption Support temporary caseload coverage during staff transitions, onboarding periods, or short-term leaves Maintain treatment fidelity and documentation standards when stepping into active cases Collaborate with supervising BCBA and/or LBS to ensure smooth transitions and clinical consistency Compliance & Documentation Ensure documentation aligns with payer, IBHS, and quality assurance standards Maintain timely session note completion Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives Adhere to BACB Ethics Code, Pennsylvania LBS regulations, and applicable state requirements WORK STRUCTURE This position includes a structured combination of billable and administrative responsibilities. The Lead RBT Clinical Program Specialist will: Maintain a consistent billable caseload providing direct ABA services Be allocated dedicated administrative hours for mentorship, program support, documentation oversight, and clinical collaboration Provide responsive clinical coverage support as needed to preserve service continuity Participate in supervision meetings and interdisciplinary planning The balance of billable and administrative hours will be determined based on caseload needs and organizational priorities. QUALIFICATIONS One of the following is required: Active BCaBA certification in good standing with a Bachelors degree OR Masters degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field with completed BCBA coursework requirements and actively pursuing BCBA and/or LBS credentialing Additional Requirements: Minimum 24 years of ABA experience Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and professional discretion CPR/First Aid certification Commitment to ongoing professional development COMPENSATION Compensation is determined based on credential status, clinical experience, and leadership responsibilities. Expected compensation range: $35 $42 per hour. Structured compensation increase upon attainment of BCBA and/or LBS credentialing. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
