Location: Edison, NJ 08818 Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking
a skilled and patient-focused Dental Assistant to support clinical
and administrative operations in a dental care setting. This role
provides chairside assistance to dental providers, supports patient
care, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to dentists during
examinations and procedures Prepare patient charts for scheduled
procedures and document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Take and process digital dental radiographs; maintain imaging
equipment and monitor supplies Assist with front desk duties,
including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting
patients Clean and sanitize dental examination rooms after each
patient in accordance with infection control protocols Maintain
positive working relationships with staff and dental residents
Provide reassurance and support to patients during dental
procedures Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 1 year of
experience as a Dental Assistant Strong patient-centered
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computers
and office software, including Microsoft Office and/or Google
Workspace Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Education & Licensure High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant training program
(certificate required) Active New Jersey Dental Radiology License
