Doctor of Medicine | Neurology - General/Other Location: Newark, NJ Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 11 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Newark Beth Israel Medical Center-AP-Physician-0063 State NJ Location 201 Lyons Avenue Newark New Jersey 07112 Requirements Robert Wood Johnson- Newark Beth Isreal needs a locum to cover neurology in clinic during absence of their clinic neurologist for the dates mentioned below in July. The August coverage would be for inpatient call and consult, which also includes reading EEGs. Work Location: NBI - Beth Prime Care and Adult Health Center Practice -166 Lyons Ave, Newark 07112 Specialty: Neurology Coverage Dates Needed: June 17 - July 5, July 18 - 26, August -approximately 1 week with dates TBD Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes. N/A Description of Work Assignment: Outpatient clinic visits, inpatient neuro consults and possibly code stroke responding physician Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: June 17 -July 5 and July 18 -26 (excluding weekends) would require 2 clinic sessions per day Monday -Friday for total of 10 sessions per week. August would require call coverage for inpatient consults and code stroke response. Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: Clinic - 09:00 - 17:00 Mon - Friday On call? August Patient Load: Clinic: 14 patients: 30 min New Patient and 30 min follow up. 10 patients: 1 hour New Patient and 30 min follow up appointments. Inpatient work : approximately 5-6 consults and Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) BC Is there additional support staff? Clinic staff Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? solo Are there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for them? no Trauma Level of Work Location EMR System?
