Job Description:
Exciting position available in busy and fast paced well
established restaurant. We are looking to fill the position of
saut-- chef, but as we are a steakhouse grill knowledge is also a
major plus. There is plenty of room for creativity as we have a
weekly specials menu in addition to our set menu. Would love
someone who is interested in contributing new and fun dishes
derived from all cultures and old family recipes. Looking for
someone who works well as a team, is reliable and also self
motivated. We don't want to babysit, but rather have a group of
employees that know what they have to do and get it done. We want a
person who knows when to jump in and help, who values being ON TIME
and keeps a clean work space. We would like someone with on-site
kitchen experience and proficiency in areas such as portion control
and plating, knife skills, sauce and soup making and to have the
basic understanding of kitchen equiptment, BUT we are also willing
to train as we know that sometimes it just takes that first big
break out of culinary school to get your start! At the Bloomfield
Steakhouse we work hard yes, but we are a community of support and
