Job Description:
The Human Resources organization at Citi is building a new Data
group. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR data
management leader, to enter at the "ground floor" and shape the
future organization. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer for HR,
you will navigate global and cross functional needs, collaborate
with Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO) and drive towards and
ideal state of a mature data governance program.As the HR Head of
Data management, you will be responsible for the strategy and the
development of 3 areas: HR-wide data quality, distribution of HR
data (within HR and to external consumers), and the platforms/tools
needed to for data storage, distribution, reporting, analytics, and
data science.Your responsibilities:
- Build a world class team of data management leaders and
professionals across the 3 disciplines
- Drive the strategy and implementation of a data quality
practice, adopting consistent metrics and reporting
- Ensure HR-wide data quality issue/concerns are managed,
escalated, and reported to the ECDO as needed
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders (owners, consumers,
enablers) to ensure timely issue data issues resolution
- In collaboration with the ECDO, drive the adoption of data
distribution best practices and processes, ensuring data is
consumed from authorized sources and that appropriate data
"contracts" are in place
- Provide product ownership across all HR data platforms
(warehouses/lakes) and tools used for reporting, dashboarding,
analytics, data science
- Drive the future state design and implementation of the broad
data platform, including enabling direct-to-manager information
availability; overall up/down stream HR data flows; and cross-HR
data/analytics collaboration environmentYour experience:
- 15+ years of experience in data domain with track record of
successfully deploying data management strategy and operation, that
span multiple functions/regions, preferably in Human Resources
- Experience managing Data Quality operations that standardize
data definitions, maintenance processes, and aligns with quality
metrices
- Leadership level of experience, understanding and technical
acumen in Data & Analytics tools, platforms, and ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and have
influence across organizational boundaries through excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and steer a wide range of stakeholders
while bringing together and working with a team of people with
varied backgrounds - business analysts, technical experts, process
owners
- Management experience of leading, hiring and managing talented
individuals
- Experience working in large/global corporate environments
- Effective communication and presentation skills for technical
and non-technical groups within the organization
- Financial services and project management experience/agile
