The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, including litigation, counseling, and compliance matters. Salary & Benefits Competitive base salary range of $200,000 - $250,000 , commensurate with experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with firm contributions Generous paid time off and holiday schedule Professional development and continuing education support Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing 3 years of experience in employment law, including litigation and advisory work Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple matters with a high level of organization and attention to detail Client-focused approach with proven ability to build and maintain relationships Responsibilities Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and contract disputes Provide counsel on day-to-day employment law issues, including hiring, termination, workplace policies, accommodations, and compliance Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies Conduct workplace investigations and advise on risk management strategies Stay current on changes in employment law and provide proactive updates to clients Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
