As a Security Officer - Corporate Campus in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your duties. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.Monitor the premises for any unusual activity or security-related incidents, and report findings according to site protocols.Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the location.Support emergency response activities as directed by site management or emergency personnel.Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.Possession of a New York State Security Guard Card is preferred.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Perks and Benefits:
